Hi, I’m Luke sheppard.

Who I Am

My name is Luke. I install and secure doors and windows for a living.

Most of my work involves responding to damage—break-ins, forced entry, and situations where a home is suddenly no longer secure. I’ve spent a lot of time seeing what actually fails, and what actually keeps people safe.

Why I Started The Safe Frame Project

Over time, I noticed a pattern.

People dealing with break-ins or damage are already stressed, tired, and unsure what to do next. If they don’t have insurance, things get worse fast.

I’ve seen quick board-ups that don’t actually secure anything—or keep Canadian weather out. I’ve seen people left with doors or windows that still don’t feel safe.

The Safe Frame Project started as a way to step in during those situations and do the job properly—even for people who can’t afford insurance or a contractor.

What I Do

I help secure homes after damage.

That includes:

  • Boarding up doors and windows properly

  • Reinforcing weak points where needed

  • Making sure the home is actually secure—not just covered

What Makes This Different

This isn’t just about covering a hole.

The goal is to restore a sense of security. That means:

  • Taking the time to do it right

  • Explaining what’s been done and why

  • Treating people with respect in a stressful situation

Where I Work

Based in Toronto.

Availability depends on workload, but I do my best to help when I can—especially in urgent situations.
